2112 Inc. and ChicagoMusic.org will host a reception on the opening night of PIGFACE 25. Workshops, guided tours, presentations, gallery talks, popup shops and performances are scheduled throughout the exhibit.
Further cause for celebration is the fifth anniversary of the SAE Chicago Music Business Culminating Project, which prompts graduating students to collide with the real world head-on, handson.
The installation is open the public Thursdays 4pm 6pm, Saturdays 11am 4pm and by appointment beginning April 1 through May 5. The opening reception is March 31st at 6pm.

About Pigface
Pigface is an industrial music collective conceived during Ministry ‘s 1989-1990
“ The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste ” tour, Atkins , along with then Ministry drummer Bill Rieflin , came up with the idea. For each Pigface album, Atkins would assemble a new lineup reflecting the anarchistic ideals of the original punk rock bands of the mid70s.
Since its inception, Pigface has included over 300 musicians such as Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Ogre (Skinny Puppy), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Michael Gira (Swans), LoLo, Shonen Knife, Alex Patterson (Orb), Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Paul Raven (Killing Joke), Chris Connelly (Revolting Cocks), Curse Mackey, Andrew Weiss, Chris Haskett (Rollins Band) and many, many more.

He is the owner of Invisible Records and Mattress Factory Recording Studios (est. 1988). Additionally, he is the author of “Tour:Smart,” a syndicated blogger and chair of the music business program at SAE Chicago. Atkins is a producer, drummer, documentary filmmaker, DJ and father of four.
