Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers have spent more than 30 years building a devoted following, and their latest release, Hell to Breakfast, proves that their musical journey is still going strong. The band’s 11th studio album brings new material to longtime fans while celebrating the 30th anniversary of Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy, one of the band’s most beloved records. The Hell to Breakfast Tour and Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy 30th Anniversary Tour rolled into FitzGerald’s on Saturday night for a sold-out show that blended new songs, a full-album performance of Fizzy Fuzzy Big & Buzzy, and several fan favorites.

The band features Roger Clyne on vocals, Paul “P.H.” Naffah on drums, Nick Scopos on bass, Jim Dalton on lead guitar and Nick Sterling on guitar and keyboards. Their sound blends together punk rock, Americana, indie pop, and Southwestern influences, creating a distinctive musical blend that translates effortlessly to the stage.

Before the band took the stage, the atmosphere inside FitzGerald’s felt different from an ordinary weekend concert. Fans greeted one another, exchanged stories about past shows and reminisced about years of following the band. It felt less like a typical concert and more like a reunion among old friends. When Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers finally took the stage, they were welcomed with cheers, screams and applause from a crowd ready to celebrate.

Feeding off that energy, the band kicked off the night with “Blue Collar Suicide,” immediately drawing the audience into their performance. Roger’s humor and stories between songs added another layer to the evening, creating spontaneous, genuine moments that made the show feel personal.

The connection between the band and its audience remained a highlight throughout the night, particularly during “Mekong” and “Banditos.” FitzGerald’s intimate setting brought the musicians within reach of the crowd, creating an atmosphere where the line between performer and audience seemed to disappear. Fans sang along, responded to every moment and became an active part of the night. That shared energy captured what has kept Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers thriving for more than three decades.

The band has toured extensively throughout the United States, earning a loyal following that extends well beyond the beginnings at Long Yong’s in Tempe, with fans regularly traveling across state lines to catch a show. For people looking to experience a wild time and the band at its fullest, their annual Circus Mexicus festival in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico, is a must-see event. The seaside gathering brings fans together year after year, celebrating the music, camaraderie, and enduring spirit that have become synonymous with Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers.
