Promoting his first record in a decade, I Love You Forever, nomadic musician Jacob Augustine performed at Virginia’s Galactic Panther.
Augustine’s music draws from a wide range of influences—punk, metal, alternative, folk, and rock—to explore his perspective on the human condition. It felt fitting that he found himself playing this Washington, DC area art gallery and music venue.
From humble beginnings performing at a Subway sandwich shop in Lincoln, Maine in the 1990s to this stage, some might say he hasn’t come far but I would disagree. As a traveling musician on a mission to share his songs, he’s covered a great distance.
What a way to spend a Sunday evening: soaking up good vibes, music, and discovering new artists with an awesome group of people. And the best part? He’s coming back in the DMV area in August 2026.
