The Cure’s First US Tour In 8 Years, Comes to UIC Pavilion

There must be a special place in Robert Smith’s heart for Chi-Town as the band announced today they will go out on a FULL US tour starting Late Spring / Early Summer 2016 but only 3 cities listed – and we’re one.

While the band were just recently here with a stop at Lollapalooza in 2013 and Riot Fest 2014, the rest of the US fan base were disappointed to learn there would be no other stops after those was a one off gigs. Fear not Cure-Heads (is that what super Cure fans are called?) for the band will be playing somewhere near you soon. And for us in Chicago, it’s becoming an annual reoccurring event we’re looking forward to. Another Chicago stop has been added. It’s already set in stone. Start planing now!
