Spring Awakening Music Festival Launches DJ Competition + Announces Silent Disco Lineup

Spring Awakening Music Festival is thrilled to launch the annual DJ Remix Competition! This year, one aspiring DJ will have a chance to win a performance slot at SAMF 2017, along with 3 VIP weekend passes.

To enter the competition, DJs will submit their very own remix of iconic production legendZHU‘s newest single, “Nightcrawler.” Featuring infectious bass elements, ZHU’s unmistakable vocals and a sharp percussion collection to match, the song’s remix possibilities are truly endless for those with a creative mind and expert songwriting skills!

The competition begins today, Tuesday, April 11 at 12 PM CST, and will close its submission window on Monday, May 22 at 12 PM CST. During this time, prospective performers will upload a purely original Soundcloud track ID using the Spring Awakening form. Then, it’s time to gather supporting votes from friends, family, and fans to increase your chances of winning.

The 10 candidates with the most votes at the end of the submission period will be reviewed by our judges, leading to the final decision of the winner. Be sure to submit your best work soon, and gear up for another thrilling opportunity to play alongside the most acclaimed electronic acts of the era at Spring Awakening!
