CHIRP’s Spring Fundraising Drive Is Underway In Support Of Their 15th Anniversary Year
Independent is a strong word with us at In The Loop Magazine. It’s what we are and what we support. Especially when it comes to supporting Chicago-based arts and entertainment. It’s that time of year and CHIRP’s fundraising drive for 2025, their 15th year, has begun. Here’s how you can help.

| Over the past decade and a half, your generosity has made everything we do possible, from launching the station at chirpradio.org to passing a bill at the Federal level that allowed us to get our broadcast license, to developing great events like The First Time (March 19 at Martyrs’) and The CHIRP Music Film Festival (May 15-18 at the Music Box Theatre), to renovating our studios and expanding our workspace last year. |
| This year, our big project is rebuilding our website and mobile app from the ground up, creating a sleek, improved, unified user experience with a single sign-on across platforms. And of course there are all the day-to-day expenses of keeping the station running 24/7/365, and always thinking about how we can grow and improve the ways we serve our community. |
