Alejandro Meola is an argentine-american singer, songwriter and guitarist based in the New York City area since 2013. With a style rooted in Folk/Blues, the concert is part of an international tour with shows across the US, Canada, Mexico and Spain.
New album “VIVO” now streaming on Spotify and all digital platforms.
Following the solo guitar/vocals format of “Electro Folk”, his previous EP, Meola’s new album “VIVO” celebrates a decade-long career revisiting early songs like “Corazón Aceituna” and “Astrolabio”, passing through an English chapter with “Purple” onto more recent things like “La Madrugada” or the singles “LUX” and “Tiempos Dificiles”.
Recorded live in NYC, a first glimpse of this new album was the single “La Inmigración” (Vol. 2), premiered in October with a music video directed by Pato Gargini that now reaches over 40k views on YouTube.
“It’s a bittersweet song expressing the ups and downs of immigration and life abroad”, Meola says, “it’s hopes and fears, solitudes, struggles and the power of music to inspire and carry onwards.”
