Glenn Danzig announced that he and his solo career band of the same name, Danzig, will be touring this fall with only 14 tour dates. The band wrote on their Instagram page, “These will be the only Danzig shows for the forseeable future, so do not miss this opportunity to see these rare Danzig performances.”
There’s good and bad news about this. The good is, he’s touring again and on this one playing the first album, (1988) Danzig, in its entirety. The bad news, it’s during Riot Fest weekend. A place he graced the stage more often than most bands in one of his incarnations.
Joining Danzig on this tour will be a bath of wicked supporting acts that include Poland’s Black Metal giants, Behemoth, California based Satanic Doo-Wop group Twin Temples and Cleveland Speed Metalers Midnight.
Now you’ll just need to figure out how to teleport from Douglas Park to Uptown.
