METALLICA RETURNS TO THE METRO STAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1983, PLAYING AN INTIMATE CLUB SHOW
(CHICAGO, IL)–– Metro Chicago is pleased to welcome Metallica to its stage on Monday, September 20th, 2021. The band is returning to the stage for the first time since 1983, playing a one off intimate club performance. Patrons must line up this afternoon to claim a wristband in order to be able to attend the performance. Details below.
All patrons must first show proof of full vaccination (with final dose administered no less than 14 days prior to event) to purchase a wristband for admission to the show. Proof of Vaccination is your vaccination card (either a photocopy or photo on phone of vaccine card are acceptable), plus a Government Issued ID. Patrons also can sign up on IDPHand pull up their vaccination information online if they recieved the vaccine in the state of Illinois.
Once proof of vaccination status has been determined, you can enter the line for the Metro box office to purchase a ticket:
One wristband per person
Must be present to purchase a wristband
Capacity is very limited; wristbands will sell out quickly
If you need to step out of line, you will lose your place.
Wristbands are CASH only, $19.83 ($20 total)
Once a wristband has been purchased, it will be put on each patron by venue staff
If the wristband shows any evidence of tampering, it will be void
Once patron has their wristband, they need to leave the venue area and can return at 6PM CST.

Show is at 8:30PM CST
