Lollapalooza 2018 Chicago: Day 1 Highlights Review

The biggest festival in the country and our beautiful city of Chicago, Illinois gets to host it once again. It’s been hot, crowded and filled with excitement all at once.

First highlight of day, Camila Cabello on the Lake Shore stage. For those who attended her performance, could say she was giving all her energy towards the crowd. Not only was her set packed with all her hits like, Never be the Same, She loves control and with a small tribute to Elvis Presley. Her set was also paired with a meticulous, detailed choreography backed up by her backup dancers. Camila’s very first time in Chicago for Lollapalooza 2018 was one for the books.

Closing Act day one, Travis Scott on Bud-light Stage. From the very beginning, massive amounts of people were rushing from all directions to get closer to the stage and get a glimpse of the rap star. The closer you got to the stage the more energy you felt. To make day one more memorable Travis dropped his latest album, ASTROWORLD the very same night. For those who were lucky enough to attend his set became the very first ones to hear a glimpse of ASTROWORLD.

Day one was just the beginning of 2018 Lollapalooza’s four day festival. There are more acts to come as the festival keeps on getting better as the days go on.
