Warped Tour Chicago has been a summer staple for more summers than most attendees can remember so having the final Chicago date for their full cross country tour was a bittersweet one. Usually Warped Chicago is met with insane sun and heat so it only made sense for the final one to be met with storms and rain on and off all day with the sun only randomly appearing for moments of warmth throughout. Rounding out this final line up was a mixed bag of bands, something for everyone. From pop punk icons like Simple Plan to the new wave of pop punk bands and hometown boys Real Friends & Knuckle Puck. You could also jump into the pit to get your mosh on with bands like Every Time I Die, Motionless In White, Knocked Loose, and Harms Way or ska yourself to death with the legends in Reel Big Fish. Chicago made sure to come out in full force selling the festival out just before doors opened. While Warped will be missed Chicago gave it their all and we can only wait and see what happens with Warped Tour in the Future.
