SAE Students to Release Compilation to Raise Funds and Awareness for Charity At Reggies Rock Club

L.O.V.E.D. Records is a label started by 6 Music Business students at SAE Institute Chicago. As part of their culminating project, they have created AKADEMIX, a compilation of songs from artists that they like, listen to and respect. The project will be released on cassette tape and digital download. The artists featured on this compilation are from a wide range of genres that include Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Easy Listening, House and Electronic Dance Music. Artists include one that just opened for Drake, one that has over 4 million views on Youtube, one that is affiliated with RocNation, to one that has 5 followers on Instagram.

In partnership with Reggies Rock Club, Brown Paper Tickets, FreshBooks and SAE Institute, L.O.V.E.D. Records is celebrating this release at Reggies on August 31, 2016 with performances from artists that are featured on the compilation (Add 2, Neak, JMP, Rocky 5, Esohel, AD x Justin James, Remada, Rich Payso, Brooks, Bravo, Classik The God, Lyr!c, Visual,Sham God, Shane Wirkes, DoubleSpeak, Caroline Baran, UnderFire, HF Ando, Osmin, Austin, Adad, Dave Pracyse ). This is not just an event, these students intend on leaving a legacy!

L.O.V.E.D. Records ( so named, because we believe we are Living Our Visions Every Day ) is shining a light on the Chicago music scene, fellow students and prominent local causes. All profits from this event will go to Guitars Over Guns, American Cancer Society, Celestial Ministries and The Greater Chicago Food Depository!
