Almost a decade ago, In The Loop Magazine had a chance to sit down and chat with Louise Harrison (George Harrison‘s sister) about her role in helping to bring The Beatles to the US. She also discussed what she was up to since and the current projects she was heading up including music in school programs and her ultimate Beatles tribute band, Liverpool Legends. Sadly we lost Mrs Harrison last year, but we’re thankful for the time we got with her in this last minute, impromptu interview.

With the release of the new Beatles documentary, Beatles ’64, produced by Martin Scorsese, we thought is a great time to revisit this interview with woman who brought the Fab 4 to not only the US, but right here to downstate Benton, Illinois.
