Ministry book signing with Al Jourgensen and Aaron Tanner

On Friday the 13th this December, Al Jourgensen and Aaron Tanner, author and designer of the book Ministry: Prescripture, will be on hand to sign the book at Asrai Garden West Loop in Chicago, IL from 6pm – 9pm. The book is a fully authorized visual history with 248 pages of rare and unseen photos, artwork, and other ephemera that spans Ministry’s entire career! 200 copies of the book, including a deluxe edition that includes a 7” of the studio version “(Every Day is) Halloween (Acoustic)” featuring Dave Navarro, will be available for purchase at this event.

And to celebrate the union of two long time dark pillars of Chicago, Al Jourgensen and Asrai Garden, 50 hand poured commemorative candles will also be available for purchase. Created in collaboration, it emits notes of frankincense, myrrh, tobacco, smoke, and patchouli, and will burn for approximately 50 hours.

After the signing, please join us as we move the party to a secret nearby location with DJ Scary Lady Sarah from 8pm to midnight.

Kuma’s Corner is also joining in on the celebration! Be sure to stop by their West Loop location between December 9-13th to get their famous Ministry burger—a 10 ounce beef patty with bacon fat aioli, Applewood smoked bacon, fried smoked gouda cheese, caramelized vegetable medley, red wine gravy, and fresh thyme.
