This was certainly the case when I first booked Crosby, Stills &amp; Nash in 2010, and I predict it will be that way this summer for legends like Paul Simon and Frankie Valli,\u201d Kauffman said. \u201cYou can just picture them on our stage. On the same program, renowned pianist\u00a0<strong>Monty Alexander<\/strong>\u00a0makes his Ravinia debut with a tribute to one of the festival\u2019s all-time favorites, Tony Bennett (who returns to Ravinia on Aug.\u00a013). This concert also celebrates the next generation of jazz talent by welcoming the Grammy-nominated 12-year-old piano wunderkind\u00a0<strong>Joey Alexander<\/strong>\u00a0for his first performance on the Pavilion stage after making his Ravinia debut in Bennett Gordon Hall last summer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration<\/strong>\u00a0(June\u00a026): Singer-songwriter and guitarist of the Allman Brothers Band\u00a0<strong>Warren Haynes<\/strong>\u00a0evokes the style and sound of the late Grateful Dead frontman Jerry Garcia with a symphonic dimension provided by the Ravinia Festival Orchestra.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Over the Moon<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(July\u00a019): Billed as \u201can orchestra of voices,\u201d the Grammy-winning male chorus\u00a0<strong>Chanticleer<\/strong>\u00a0performs an evening of classic songs and new works in praise and awe of the Moon\u2014everything from the Sinatra standard \u201cFly Me to the Moon\u201d and Henry Mancini\u2019s timeless \u201cMoon River\u201d to Nico Muhly\u2019s\u00a0<em>Pierrot Lunaire<\/em>, written just for them.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>You\u2019re the Top: Cole Porter\u2019s 125th Birthday Celebration<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(Aug.\u00a017): Pianist\u00a0<strong>Kevin Cole<\/strong>, fresh off his heartfelt tribute to Marvin Hamlisch at Ravinia last summer, returns with the\u00a0<strong>Chicago Symphony Orchestra<\/strong>\u00a0as host and pianist to honor one of the wittiest songwriters of all time.
