He walked out on stage wearing an orange-and-blue foam cheese grater to the cheers of the crowd. Soon after, chants of \u201cPackers Suck!\u201d grew louder and louder with Yee crashing his cymbals in rhythm of the words.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"1019\" src=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-66507\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-11.jpg 680w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-11-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Pepper did not waste any time and launched into a set packed with high-energy fan favorites. Kaleo\u2019s friendly reminder that \u201cPepper is not a reggae band. We\u2019re a punk band that plays reggae.\u201d His statement perfectly summed up the night&#8217;s blend of reggae grooves, punk attitude and non-stop fun. Even Jordan, their guitar tech, got into the fun playing Bret Bollinger\u2019s bass during \u201cWarning\u201d, while Bret moved wildly onstage singing keeping the crowd hyped by, while Jeff Nisen took care of the backing vocals and keyboards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1019\" height=\"1019\" src=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-66508\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-7.jpg 1019w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-7-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-7-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-7-768x768.jpg 768w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Pepper-The-Vic-Chicago-2026-7-500x500.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1019px) 100vw, 1019px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Yee\u2019s started his drum solo playing to the beat of \u201cRock and Roll (Part 2)&#8221; by Gary Glitter that quickly drew in the crowd. Kicking up the solo, Yee took the solo in a hilarious direction as he pulled out an actual block of cheese, I think it was Wisconsin not England, and grated it that covered his tom drums.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chicago got to hear the live version of \u201cEnd of the World\u201d when song collaborators The Movement came up on stage to jam.
