Continuing their tour in support of their 2024 album \u201c12,\u201d White Denim brought their unique brand of<\/em> rock and roll to The Hamilton Live in Washington, D.C. on 13 July 2025. Their Brazilian friends, Tagua<\/em> Tagua, joined them on this tour and opened the show.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guitarist and vocalist James Petralli is the sole remaining original member of White Denim and brought<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

his touring stage band to show The Hamilton Live how this blend of punk, rock, prog, and everything else<\/em> makes for some of the best rock and roll happening today. The band ripped through a comprehensive<\/em> setlist of bangers that gave each audience, regardless of when they came to love this band, something<\/em> they wanted.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

White Denim hit stage and played nearly 90 minutes non-stop demonstrating that rock and roll is alive<\/em> and well. The audience ranged from Gen Xers older than the band to fans young enough to be the band<\/em> members\u2019 children. Despite differences in age and background, audience members stomped their feet,<\/em> tapped on tables, danced, and\/or sang along on the floor right up front. There was no stopping the energy<\/em> until the show was over.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

James even brought out his harmonica and flute which added refreshing elements to their sound.<\/em> For the most part, White Denim appeared to stick to their setlist, but it\u2019s possible that they may have<\/em> made some deviations based upon input from the audience.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
