<\/p>\nChicago\u2019s Post-Punk Demolition duo Bellhead, will be heading back out on the road in May for the 2nd leg of their spring tour.\u00a0 These 9 dates will see them co-headlining the bills with NYC\u2019S coldwave artists, Clay People who will be celebrating the release of their latest album \u201cCult Hypnotica\u201d with their 1st proper tour in over 17 years.<\/p>\n

The 9-city tour takes place from May 6th until May 14th, running from Chicago to NYC. Prior to this tour, Bellhead also have a series of warm up dates including 2 shows supporting the gothic legends Clan Of Xymox in Nashville and Milwaukee and ending the month of May as direct support for LA\u2019s dark electronic duo, Night Club.<\/p>\n

Bellhead will be releasing a cover of Prince\u2019s song \u201cI Would Die 4 U\u201d on 2\/14\/2023 via all streaming platforms. The band also created a hand-numbered glow in the dark art print that will only be available at the spring shows while quantities last.<\/p>\n

IWD4U comes on the heels of 2021\u2019s successful\u00a0 \u201cDead Lights\u201d EP and the 2022 \u201cNothing as it Seems\u201d maxi-single which included remixes from Stabbing Westward\u2019s Walter Flakus and Dean Garcia of 90\u2019s alternative darlings, Curve.<\/p>\n

In 2022 Bellhead had a successful \u201cDead Lights\u201d tour which saw them perform over 30 dates across 17 cities including supporting dates with Powerman5000, The World Over, Night Club, Holy Wars, Christian Death, Heet Death, China Crisis, The Bellwether Syndicate, Then Comes Silence, and Hate Dept.<\/p>\n

NYC\u2019S Punk\/Metal Industrial Legends, The Clay People came out of the world-wide pandemic swinging and released their blistering new studio album \u201cCult Hypnotica\u201d in July of 2022. With singles such as \u201cThe Drugs (are not working)\u201d and \u201cCult Hypnotic\u201d, the Clay People are ready to reclaim their place in the rock\/coldwave landscape. Inspired by truth and awareness, the band delved into the onslaught of misinformed media, religious misinformation, the corruption of political agents, and the use of technology to control human behavior and control.<\/p>\n

June 2022 also saw the Clay People collaborate with Top Cow Productions and Ep1tome Studios in releasing a comic book entitled \u201cThe Clay People-Colossus\u201d, based on a song from their 2018 album \u201cDemon Hero and Other Extraordinary Phantasmagoric Anomalies and Fables\u201d. This single received the remix treatment in late 2022 from producer and multi-instrumentalist Danny Saber pushing the band to the forefront of people’s minds.<\/p>\n

From modest beginnings in the underground Industrial Darkwave scene, to the breakout release of their self-titled major label debut, it has been a long, strange journey for these Albany rockers.\u00a0 Born from the unique creative bond of Daniel Dinsmore, Brian McGarvey and Daniel Neet, The Clay People first started making music together in 1989.\u00a0 In the decades that followed, the band would add guitarist Jared Weed and bass player Eric Braymer and go on to share the stage with internationally known touring acts such as Stained, Static X, Clutch, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Filter and Stabbing Westward to name a few.<\/p>\n
