Today, multi-talented and genre-bending artist Chiiild releases his latest track \u201cGood For Now\u201d featuring GRAMMY Award-winning R&B powerhouse Lucky Daye via Avant Garden\/4th & Broadway\/Def Jam Recordings. The track will appear on Chiiild\u2019s forthcoming album Better Luck in the Next Life, due out March 3, 2023.<\/p>\n

This latest release sees Chiiild team up with GRAMMY-winning R&B star Lucky Daye, resulting in a mesmerizing ambient track with rich vocals and an otherworldly atmosphere. The two artists previously collaborated on \u201cCompassion\u201d on Daye\u2019s 2022 GRAMMY-nominated album Candydrip.<\/p>\n
About the track, Chiiild shares \u201cSometimes we get caught up in the feelings and start thinking about the future with the hope that the feeling lasts. This song is a reminder that whatever happens, we should be present in the moment because we don\u2019t know what tomorrow brings.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chiiild first announced Better Luck in the Next Life with the release of his single \u201cBon Voyage.\u201d The track offered a first glimpse into the album, which serves as an in-depth exploration of creative freedom, personal equilibrium, and a return home. Chiiild followed this up by releasing his next single \u201cYou Get Me (A Final Word),\u201d which premiered on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music in December.<\/p>\n

Better Luck In The Next Life will be the follow up project to Chiiild\u2019s 2021 debut album Hope for Sale, which upon release was met with critical acclaim from NPR, Complex, NYLON, and more and has amassed over 58 million streams to date. The album was nominated for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2022 JUNO Awards, and Chiiild was also named one of VEVO\u2019s 2022 DSCVR Artists to Watch. Chiiild delivered a soulful medley of two of his most well-known songs from this album, \u201cPirouette\u201d and \u201cSleepwalking\u201d on Jimmy Kimmel Live! \u2013 watch the performance HERE. Prior to Hope for Sale, Chiiild released his debut EP Synthetic Soul in early 2020.<\/p>\n

Mulit-talented artist Chiiild crafts beautiful and thought-provoking hymns that transcend genre, while still retaining the integrity of Soul, Jazz, and R&B. As an artist influenced by everyone from Pink Floyd to Marvin Gaye, Chiiild has a knack for melding sounds and coupling them with songwriting that is rooted in both storytelling and social commentary. ABOUT LUCKY DAYE<\/p>\n
GRAMMY-Award winning R&B star Lucky Daye discovered his love of music and natural gift for singing and songwriting early in life in his hometown of New Orleans. Displaced by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Lucky moved to Atlanta for a brief stint and eventually ventured to Los Angeles to pursue his music dreams. After meeting producer D\u2019Mile and working with him on his debut album Painted, Lucky fully realized his voice and potential. His undeniable talent as a vocalist took shape and landed him at his label home, Keep Cool, in partnership with RCA Records.<\/p>\n
Lucky Daye has received five nominations for the 65th annual GRAMMY Awards, performed his hit single \u201cOver\u201d on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and released his sophomore album Candydrip.
