Nearly two-dozen CIVL members will host a variety of programs July 11 &#8211; 17, 2022. Thursday July 14 marks the return of CIVL\u2019s Free Concert at Millennium Park, this year featuring Chicago\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Ric Wilson\u00a0<\/strong>(hip-hop)<strong>, Tasha\u00a0<\/strong>(indie, singer\/songwriter)<strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Mario Abney &amp; The Abney Effect Brass Band<\/strong>\u00a0(New Orleans jazz\/soul).<\/p>\n<p class=\"styles_paragraph__CxmiR\">Chicago\u2019s reputation as a world renowned live music hub is largely due to independently owned and operated music venues\u2019 legacies of nurturing homegrown talent. Performers from every genre are afforded opportunities to earn national recognition.
