I have seen letlive. a couple of times prior and was instantly hooked. I knew that Fever 333 would be just as intense and fun to watch and the crowd definitely was into every song. Each song confronts many of the current situations that society is going through. Jason and Stephen head into the crowd and got the crowd more riled up, while Aric jumped onto his drum seat yelling at the crowd before he jumped down hitting his drums with his sticks in ultimate precision.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fever 333 Setlist<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Burn It<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re Coming In<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Made An America<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of Us<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Innocent<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hunting Season<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next up on the stage was Underoath, the hard-hitting metalcore band from Tampa, Florida. The band\u2019s current lineup consists of Aaron Gillespie (vocals and drums), Christopher Dudley (keyboards and programming), Timothy McTague (lead guitar), Grant Brandell (bass), James Smith (rhythm guitar) and Spencer Chamberlain (lead vocals). They picked up right where Fever 333 left off. Straight to your face drum beats and crunching guitar sounds accompanied by intense lyrics. Their show was filled with loud and precise playing, while all the band members showed their high-energy performance from the beginning until the end of their set.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38233\" src=\"https:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1012\" height=\"988\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-4.jpg 1012w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-4-300x293.jpg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-4-768x750.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1012px) 100vw, 1012px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Underoath\u2019s set consisted mainly of songs from their latest album\u00a0<em>Erase Me<\/em>, while they threw in \u201cWriting on the Walls\u201d back from 2006. They definitely kept the screaming crowd entertained and were proud to announce that they were working on some new music. Which brought more cheers and yells of joy from the audience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Underoath Setlist<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On My Teeth<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Loneliness<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rapture<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Breathing in a New Mentality<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ihateit<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hold Your Breath<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Frame<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Writing on the Walls<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sink With You<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next on the bill was Alice In Chains, doing their co-headlining set. They opened up to the screaming fans with a one-two punch of\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAngry Chair\u201d and \u201cMan in the Box\u201d. Two songs greatly composed by the late Layne Staley. William DuVall has taken over the vocal duties of the band and has come into his own with them. Jerry Cantrell (guitar), Mike Inez (bass) and Sean Kinney (drums) round out the lineup.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-38234\" src=\"https:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-5-1024x666.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"624\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-5-1024x666.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-5-300x195.jpg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-5-768x499.jpg 768w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-5.jpg 1240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There was not much time for talk as the band played one song after the next, with hardly any long speeches in between the songs. Alice In Chairs are one of the tightest sounding bands I have seen live. The crowd was definitely into it as you could hear them singing many of the choruses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DuVall\u2019s sang with the same passion of the post-Staley songs as well as the ones that the crowd loves from the 90\u2019s. Cantrell\u2019s calm playing made his formable years of playing look easy of only a man of his stature could do. Sean and Mike were in sync with each other the whole night as the lights and visuals on the video boards behind the band kept up with them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38235\" src=\"https:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-6.jpg 1000w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-6-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-6-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-6-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the high-intensity bands before Alice In Chains, it was nice to hear the grungy legends slow it down while keeping the crowd jumping around and singing in unison. For their closing songs, they brought the crowd back to their 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0album with the songs \u201cWould?\u201d and \u201cRooster\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alice in Chains Setlist<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Angry Chair<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Man in the Box<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check My Brain<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Again<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Them Bones<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dam That River<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stone<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rainier Fog<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No Excuses<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nutshell<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rain When I Die<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We Die Young<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The One You Know<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Would?<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rooster<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A huge curtain was positioned in front of the stage to block the audience from seeing how the stage was set up. The crowd got louder as they heard the crunchy guitars and drum beats with the curtain still up. Not that the crowd needed any direction, but when Jonathan Davis yelled, \u201cHere we go!\u201d the curtain dropped and the crowd\u2019s cheers turned into roars.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deadlocks were flowing in the air from the various members in the band as the strobes and lights flashed, brightening up the thousands in attendance. Ray Luzier, drummer, got the crowd more excited when he started off taping on his cymbals at the beginning of the band\u2019s first single \u201cBlind\u201d from their self-titled album back from 1994. Hearing the song brought back a lot of great memories from when I first saw them at The Party Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-38236\" src=\"https:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-9-1024x656.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"615\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-9-1024x656.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-9-300x192.jpg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-9-768x492.jpg 768w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-9.jpg 1248w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">James &#8220;Munky&#8221; Shaffer (rhythm guitar), Reginald &#8220;Fieldy&#8221; Arvizu (bass), Brian &#8220;Head&#8221; Welch (lead guitar, backing vocals) took different positions on the stage and got into the music head-banging to the beats of Ray\u2019s pounding drums.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The crowd definitely enjoyed hearing the song \u201cYou\u2019ll Never Find Me\u201d, from their forth-coming album\u00a0<em>The Nothing<\/em>, played live for the first time in Illinois. The light show was just as intense as the song was. It was a great addition to the setist and it could become a staple in their future live shows. A Korn concert would not be complete with Jonathan Davis not playing his bagpipe at the beginning of \u201cShoots and Ladders\u201d. As a kind of homage to Metallica, Korn ended the song with a little part of Metallica\u2019s \u201cOne\u201d and quickly kept the intensity up with jumping right into \u201cGot the Life\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38237\" src=\"https:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-7.jpg 1000w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-7-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-7-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Fever-333-Underoath-Alice-in-Chains-Korn-2019-Tour-7-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Korn always keeps the crowd interactive and entertained they played \u201cComing Undone\u201d with the well-known song \u201cWe Will Rock You\u201d by Queen. They closed out their great fifteen-song setlist with \u201cFalling Away From Me\u201d, as many people in the audience moshed in front of the stage and in the lawn.
