Combining the best elements of seminal \u201890s acts like Liz Phair, Sebadoh, Veruca Salt, and The Breeders without ever seeming derivative, tunes like \u201cPristine,\u201d <em>Lush<\/em>\u2019s debut single, \u201cFull Control,\u201d and \u201cHeat Wave\u201d bristle with an energy beyond Jordan\u2019s years, and her growing success is evidenced by the fact that she\u2019s not only on the bill for Pitchfork Festival next weekend but also headlining Thalia Hall on Saturday, July 20th.
