This is it folks. \u00a0What a long (50 years) strange trip it’s been is an understatement. \u00a0The Grateful Dead have been making history every step of the way. \u00a0Record setting performances. \u00a0Largest fan base. \u00a0Most tours. \u00a0Highest ticket price sales. \u00a0Tonight marks the end of an era. \u00a0The final show of a 3 day stop. \u00a0Even though the band stopped touring and recording in 1995 after Jerry Garcia’s death, they never called it quits officially, until now. \u00a0This tour brings a close to the greatest jam band of all time, closing the doors at Chicago’s Soldier Field where 20 years ago this summer, they played their last official show with Garcia.<\/p>\n
The current line up of touring members include.\u00a0Bob Weir, Billy Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, \u00a0Trey Anastasio<\/a>\u00a0from the jamband\u00a0Phish<\/a>\u00a0on guitar, Jeff Chimenti on keyboards, and Bruce Hornsby accompanying on piano.
