Both the Application and the Audition are FREE.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A committee of industry professionals will review all submissions based on (in no particular order) stage presence, voice, originality and creativity to select the artists\/bands to fill the very limited number of audition slots.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Artists\/Bands must meet the following criteria to apply:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Be at least 14 years old and a parent or guardian must accompany artists\/bands under the age of 18 to the October 27 audition.<\/li>\n<li>Reside in one of the following counties in Illinois:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>Cook County<\/li>\n<li>DeKalb County<\/li>\n<li>Grundy County<\/li>\n<li>Kane County<\/li>\n<li>Kendall County<\/li>\n<li>McHenry County<\/li>\n<li>Will County<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Be available to perform on Saturday, October 27, 2018, 11:30am &#8211; 4pm, at the Claudia Cassidy Theater in the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All music genres are welcome to apply and absolutely no walk-in auditions will be allowed on October 27. All participants will be selected in advance through this application process. DCASE does not guarantee any audition outcomes.
