MAMBY ON THE BEACH, Chicago\u2019s only beachside summer music festival, is proud to announce the full\u00a0artist lineup for its fourth annual installment! <\/strong><\/span>The two-day boutique festival takes place\u00a0Saturday, June 23rd <\/strong>and Sunday, June 24th<\/strong>, on the grassy fields and sand-swept coastline of Oakwood Beach<\/strong> in the historic Bronzeville\u00a0neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Backed by a stunning view of Chicago\u2019s skyline and the shimmering waters of Lake Michigan, the Beach Stage<\/strong> showcases the best in indie, electronic, and hip-hop. Headlining\u00a0is hometown hip-hop icon COMMON <\/strong>and one of the hottest rising\u00a0stars in the game,\u00a0RUSS<\/strong>. The Beach Stage will also host a live performance by acclaimed UK house duo GORGON CITY<\/strong>, along with ROY WOOD$<\/strong>\u2019, whose smoothly textured hip-hop promises to hit you right in the feels. Brotherly synth rock trio AJR<\/strong> join the roster, along with the impeccable rap lyricism of Savemoney\u2019s TOWKIO<\/strong>. MOON BOOTS<\/strong> will also perform with a full band, while ascendant Chicago producer WHETHAN<\/strong> returns with his wavy soundscapes. Additional acts include the infectiously groovy UK duo HONNE<\/strong>, soulful sounds from JAMILA WOODS<\/strong>, PIVOT Gang’s JOSEPH CHILLIAMS<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Park Stage<\/strong> provides a sonic landscape with headlining performances by indie rock favorites SPOON<\/strong> – stopping through Chicago as part of their nationwide co-headlining tour with dreamy lo-fi heroes GRIZZLY BEAR<\/strong>, along with energetic rockers COLD WAR KIDS<\/strong>, and high-energy art\u00a0pop band ST. LUCIA<\/strong>. Additionally, genre-bending duo TUNE-YARDS<\/strong>, and singer-songwriter duo OH WONDER<\/strong> will dazzle the crowd with their defiant alt-pop sound. Swervy beatsmith SNAKEHIPS<\/strong> brings the vibes, while\u00a0supporting acts carry this stage home with performances by Swedish songstress L\u00c9ON<\/strong>, outspoken rapper\/songwriter CUPCAKKE<\/strong>, Louisville rapper JACK HARLOW<\/strong>, Savemoney crew member KAMI<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n

This year, industry leaders MIXMAG <\/strong>and BEATPORT<\/strong> team up to host the Mamby\u00a0DJ Tent<\/strong>, a stage dedicated to the very best in house and techno, with headlining performances by RICHIE HAWTIN<\/strong>and\u00a0DUKE DUMONT<\/strong>. The Mixmag x Beatport Tent will also host\u00a0Innervisions founder DIXON<\/strong>, indie-tronic sensation JAI WOLF<\/strong>, South African trailblazer NORA EN PURE<\/strong>, and Canadian producer VANIC<\/strong>. Life & Death label boss DJ TENNIS<\/strong> and WALKER & ROYCE<\/strong>\u00a0will drop some groovy deep house, along with longtime favorites JAX JONES<\/strong>, GENE FARRIS<\/strong>, and Chicago techno legends DJ HYPERACTIVE<\/strong>, HIROKO YAMAMURA<\/strong>, plus more.<\/p>\n
