Selling well over the 3,400 seat capacity pavilion. John performed his fifth studio album \u201cDarkness and Light\u201d captivating his entire audience through a two hour set.<\/p>\n<p>John began the night with cheerful greetings from his greatest Chicago fans. John\u2019s fans continuously gave standing ovations, kept him amped through a two hour set.<\/p>\n<p>The jammed pack set list included songs from the newly released album such as \u201cI Know Better\u201d, self titled track, \u201cDarkness and Light\u201d, \u201cPenthouse Floor\u201d, \u201cSurefire\u201d, \u201cLove Me Now\u201d, \u201cWhat You Do To Me\u201d and \u201cRight By You (For Luna)\u201d. Legend also included fan favorites such as \u201cSave Room\u201d, \u201cGreen Light\u201d and \u201cAll of Me\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-19103 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AQ17_john_legend_118-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"639\" srcset=\"http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AQ17_john_legend_118-1024x682.jpeg 1024w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AQ17_john_legend_118-300x200.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AQ17_john_legend_118-768x512.jpeg 768w, http:\/\/beintheloopchicago.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/AQ17_john_legend_118.jpeg 1183w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A tribute to Luna<\/p>\n<p>The night was filled with special moments, dedicating songs, such as \u201cRight By You\u201d to his daughter Luna, who also joined him on tour alongside with her mother Chrissy Teigen. John also encouraged his audience to say \u201cI love you\u201d to loved ones. A statement that he expressed is felt all around but not said enough.<\/p>\n<p>A Slow dance<\/p>\n<p>During the later half of the show Legend brought one very fortuitous Ms., from the audience up on stage to join him for a \u201cSlow Dance\u201d. Bring smiles to many, Legend did more than perform his music but made it more than a memorable concert night but made his concert soul satisfying event for many.<\/p>\n<p>The final farewell<\/p>\n<p>John Legend ended the evening performing \u201cOscar\u201d and \u201cGrammy\u201d winning song \u201cGlory\u201d, on the piano.
