The music series features a wide variety of genre-defying music from top local, national and international artists\u2014both established and emerging. The 2017 lineup includes artists from the U.S. as well as Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Mali, Mexico and Senegal\u2014advancing Chicago\u2019s status as a welcoming city.<\/p>\n<p>The Millennium Park Summer Music Series is presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and sponsored in part by the Chicago Transit Authority. All concerts are FREE and open to the public and performances begin at 6:30 p.m. and take place rain or shine.
