2017 MILLENNIUM PARK SUMMER MUSIC SERIES FEATURES FREE OUTDOOR CONCERTS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

JUNE 12\u2013AUGUST 21 AT JAY PRITZKER PAVILION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Multi-genre series presents a diverse line-up of artists that includes\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Dayme Arocena, Otis Taylor, Gregory Porter, Jaga Jazzist,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Natalie Prass, Tot\u00f3 la Momposina, Big Thief,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Drive By Truckers, Amadou & Mariam,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Youssou N\u2019Dour and Joshua Nelson<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

CHICAGO \u2013 The 2017 Millennium Park Summer Music Series will offer an exciting line-up of FREE outdoor concerts every Monday and Thursday, June 12 \u2013 August 21 (except where noted) at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park. The music series features a wide variety of genre-defying music from top local, national and international artists\u2014both established and emerging. The 2017 lineup includes artists from the U.S. as well as Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Mali, Mexico and Senegal\u2014advancing Chicago\u2019s status as a welcoming city.<\/p>\n

The Millennium Park Summer Music Series is presented by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and sponsored in part by the Chicago Transit Authority. All concerts are FREE and open to the public and performances begin at 6:30 p.m. and take place rain or shine. There will be no concerts on Monday, July 3, Thursday, July 6, Thursday, July 27, Monday, July 31, Thursday, August 3 or Monday, August 14.<\/p>\n
