March 17, 2017 \u00a0<\/span>\u2013\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Spring Awakening Music Festival (SAMF) is thrilled to release the full 2017 lineup, including artists playing on each of the six Branded Stages, the day-by-day breakdown and a limited supply of\u00a0single day tickets<\/a>!\u00a0<\/strong>Over 80 artists will perform across five unique stages, demonstrating a dynamic variety of genres within the electronic music spectrum.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to Phase 1 and Phase 2 artists performing on SAMF’s two Main Stages,\u00a0the three-day festival will also feature two Branded Stage takeovers each day.<\/span>\u00a0On\u00a0Friday, June 9,\u00a0<\/strong>the first two Branded Stages will be hosted by acclaimed music publication<\/span>Dancing Astronaut<\/strong>\u00a0and React\u2019s simmering house event series,\u00a0<\/span>Body Language<\/strong>. Headlining\u00a0Dancing Astronaut\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0takeover will be one of dance music\u2019s most celebrated artists Benny Benassi. Alongside him,\u00a0<\/span>Sander van Doorn<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>Bingo Players, Audien\u00a0<\/strong>andParty Favor<\/strong>\u00a0are all set to unleash from the stage. Meanwhile, fans of the\u00a0Body Language<\/a>series will get down to a\u00a0diverse assortment of artists\u00a0with a headlining performance byThomas Jack<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>the saxophone-playing champion of tropical house<\/span>, along with\u00a0Route 94<\/strong>,Felix Da Housecat<\/strong>,\u00a0Billy Kenny<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Gene Farris<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday, June 10<\/strong>\u00a0will see SAMF\u2019s Branded Stages transformed by Above & Beyond\u2019s smooth and sultry deep house imprint\u00a0Anjunadeep\u00a0<\/strong>and the return of React\u2019s veteranTrance Arena<\/strong>\u00a0series, featuring its own euphoric atmosphere. The\u00a0Anjunadeep<\/a>\u00a0stage will feature a headlining guest spot by\u00a0R\u00dcF\u00dcS DU SOL<\/strong>, one of the hottest indie dance groups out of Australia. Joining R\u00dcF\u00dcS will be Anjunadeep labelmates\u00a0Lane 8<\/strong>,\u00a0Moon Boots<\/strong>,\u00a0Jody Wisternoff<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0Yotto<\/strong>. Leading the\u00a0Trance Arena<\/a>\u00a0stage will be legendary Grammy Award-Winning DJ, producer and musician,\u00a0<\/span>Paul van Dyk<\/strong>. Alongside him,\u00a0<\/span>Paul Oakenfold<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>Andrew Rayel\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<\/span>MaRLo<\/strong>\u00a0will mesmerize\u00a0fans with nonstop melodic thrills throughout the day. The Trance Arena will also be graced by a\u00a0very special guest appearance<\/strong>, which will be revealed in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Topping off the weekend on\u00a0Sunday, June 11\u00a0<\/strong>will be hosted takeovers from React\u2019s longstanding\u00a0Bass Kitchen<\/strong>\u00a0series, known for its unmistakably brutal bass carnage, andSunday School<\/strong>, a\u00a0longstanding series\u00a0known for its \u201cfestival within a festival\u201d atmosphere. Headlining the\u00a0Bass Kitchen<\/a>\u2019s takeover will be an undisputed member of the Mount Rushmore of modern dubstep,\u00a0Snails<\/strong>, backed by a staggering roster of additional talent including\u00a0Kill The Noise<\/strong>,\u00a0Hucci<\/strong>,\u00a0Spag Heddy<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Barely Alive<\/strong>. Over on theSunday School<\/a>\u00a0stage, the action will be headlined by famed North London duo\u00a0Gorgon City<\/strong>, as they return to Chicago for a raucous set for all to enjoy. Rounding out the stage\u2019s roster will be\u00a0Eats Everything<\/strong>,\u00a0Victor Calderone<\/strong>,\u00a0Steve Bug<\/strong>, and\u00a0J. Phlip<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
