Chicago Open Air Festival is just 3 days away. It’s this summers largest and most eclectic hard rock, heavy metal, rock show in a tri-state area. We know the line up. We’ve scheduled out our days. Now here’s a bit more news to complete your head banging weekend in the Chicago burbs!

Chicago Open Air–the first annual 3-day music, craft beer & Gourmet Man Food festival–will feature performances by more than 40 bands, including Rammstein (the group’s only 2016 U.S. performance and first Chicago show since 2012), Chicago’s own Disturbed (who recently returned from a 4-year hiatus with their #1 album Immortalized), global rock juggernauts Slipknot, plus Chevelle, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Ministry, Breaking Benjamin, Marilyn Manson, Of Mice & Men, and many more.

Saturday, July 16 – 11:00 AM: The Student Experience @ The Music Experience
Educational backstage tour for young local musicians from bands including Atlas Aria, Audiophilia, Breaking Ice, Emergency Exit, GoinDark,OHM, Stellar, The Rand Band, US, We Are Livewire. Guest speakers expected include SiriusXM’s Jose Mangin, Riki Rachtman (Cathouse, former MTV Headbangers Ball host), Clay Busch (Danny Wimmer Presents). The Music Experience is a free, interactive “rock star” exhibit where fans get hands-on interaction with musical equipment and attend meet and greets with various artists.
