June 1, 2016\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u2014\u00a0<\/span>With each day that passes,\u00a0North Coast Music Festival\u2019s (NCMF)<\/strong>\u00a0seventh annual installment at Union Park draws nearer and nearer. After revealing the first phase of the event\u2019s incredible musical acts,\u00a0we\u2019re thrilled to announce the full lineup for 2016 in all its glory!<\/strong><\/p>\n

From hip hop and jam bands to funk and electronic dance music, this year\u2019s festival will provide something special and enticing for every type of\u00a0Coastie<\/em>\u00a0around the clock.\u00a0UMPHREY\u2019S MCGEE\u00a0<\/strong>are set to make their long awaited homecoming, as the band plays their first Chicago show in over two years after headlining the inaugural festival in 2009 and then again in 2012. Live brotherly duo\u00a0THE FLOOZIES<\/strong>will perform alongside\u00a0indie dance duo\u00a0MATT & KIM,<\/strong>\u00a0trap extraordinaires\u00a0BAAUER\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0BRILLZ<\/strong>, house legend\u00a0SAM FELDT\u00a0<\/strong>and electronic powerhouse\u00a0THE POLISH AMBASSADOR<\/strong>, also come as welcome additions to the already powerful September lineup.<\/p>\n

Jam band heavyweights\u00a0TAUK<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0TWIDDLE<\/strong>\u00a0also join the final roster, along with deep house\/ indie-dance duo\u00a0HOTEL GARUDA<\/strong>, Dirtybird’s\u00a0JUSTIN JAY<\/strong>, Australian duo\u00a0HERMITUDE<\/strong>, slow tempo producer\u00a0LOUIS FUTON<\/strong>, Jamaican musician and reggae artist\u00a0JESSE ROYAL<\/strong>, singer-songwriterALLAN RAYMAN<\/strong>, Boston rapper\u00a0MICHAEL CHRISTMAS<\/strong>, and\u00a0JAMILA WOODS<\/strong>, a Chicago-based singer and poet whose\u00a0appearance on Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment’s infectious single “Sunday Candy” brought her voice to national prominence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This year Heineken makes its return as the official adult beverage partner of North Coast!\u00a0In the heraldedHEINEKEN HOUSE<\/strong>, artists including the\u00a0ALAN KING, JESSE SAUNDERS<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0WAYNE WILLIAMS<\/strong>from the Chosen Few DJs,\u00a0FARLEY JACKMASTER FUNK,\u00a0BUCKY FARGO & MAREA, GOLF CLAP,<\/strong>\u00a0GANT-MAN, THIBAULT\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0ZEBO\u00a0<\/strong>will take to the decks for a wide mix of inclusive dance music performances. To round it off,\u00a0DJ HYPERACTIVE, MIA WALLACE, CZ BOOGIE\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0TIM ZAWADA<\/strong>\u00a0are slated to bring their own unique brands of electronic creations to the spectacle, with more to be announced shortly.<\/p>\n

North Coast\u2019s\u00a0live graffiti art organization Avagrey Living Gallery\u00a0<\/strong>will also be combined with theSilent Disco<\/strong>\u00a0area for a unique multi-channeled live experience this year. Silent Disco participants will have two different channels to pick from, while artists including\u00a0THE ARCHITECTS, COMBUSTIBLES, DJ INTEL, EDAMAME, LWKY, SKY SOCIETY, STATIK, VAPOR EYES, VOID PEDAL<\/strong>\u00a0and more spin nonstop back-to-back tracks from all across the electronic music spectrum throughout the 3-day festival.<\/p>\n
